ACE Guild

In the last month ACE has tried to get organized so we can run Zul Gurub and eventually Molten Core regularly. The officers have spent a huge amount of time collecting schedules from the members. Using that information, we tried our best to arrange raids when the most players could come. However, even with tools like Guild Event Manager this has proved frustrating and impossible. ACE just has players in too many timezones. There are simply not enough players available on a low population private server to support more than a couple of large raiding guilds from any timezone.

For ACE to continue and progress, we must specialize on fewer timezones. Right now, there are no guilds on this server that raid at times convenient for Western Hemisphere players. (That's North and South America.) Our new raid times will be convenient for those players. This will allow us to recruit players that currently have no other options for raiding. We feel this is our best option to increase our player base and continue to try to make ACE a fun place that people enjoy logging into.

We hope you understand that this was a difficult decision to make. However, we are very excited about our new direction and hope to provide a great opportunity for those who can raid with us at our new times.

Our new raid times will be: Mon, Tues, Weds and Thursday at 9PM or 10PM Eastern Standard Time (3:00am or 4:00 am server time)

UBRS Raids will likely last a little more than an hour. We also have the option to farm rep in ZG, on occasional evenings, if that's what folks would prefer. Obviously it is going to take us a little time to acquire enough members to run full ZG groups, but we feel that in time we can get back in there.

Our main focus is that we want to enjoy the time we spend in game, with people that all enjoy playing with one another.

Required Addons: Guild Event Manager is required, and raids will be scheduled in GEM, as usual. Raids will be posted a week in advance. Please sign up for raids if you plan to attend. If we don't have enough sign-ups on a given night, we can run instances, etc.

Voice Communications: We lost our vent server. The good news is we are now using Mumble, and since it is our Mumble server, this will be the last time we'll ask you to install and setup a new voice chat program for raiding. Details for downloading and installing Mumble are inside the Member forums, and there is also the download link and server info in the Guild Info tab in game.
